Kaleidoscope is an Adult Day Program serving people with developmental disabilities who may need various levels of specialized care. At capacity, Kaleidoscope has 33 clients participating in our community integrated day program. Due to the specialized care needs of our clients, we provide a ratio of 1 staff for every 2 clients. Our team includes entry level staff and health care professionals working together to provide a safe, social and fun program! Clients can choose activities and opportunities including community outings, arts and crafts, music, cooking, media, games, and much more.

DIRECT CARE STAFF POSITION

Direct Care Staff are responsible for two clients and assist with and support:

• Progress towards individual service plan goals;
• Activities and community outings;
• Socialization and recreation;
• Physical and/or occupational therapy needs;
• Daily care and monitoring;
• Dietary needs;
• Personal hygiene.

Position is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This is an ideal position for anyone interested in a career in health care and a great opportunity to gain valuable experience working with medically fragile clients. Care giving experience is helpful, but not required. We will provide all necessary training. We offer a flexible, part-time work schedule, no evenings or weekends.

• Be 18 years of age or older;
• Pass a criminal background check;
• Pass an occupational health physical, including TB Test.
